Apple iPhone

This morning, at the Macworld Expo in San Fransisco, Apple CEO Steve Jobs released it's first wireless phone offering a cornucopia of new features, previously unseen in other phones. Most of the new features are designed to work in a seamless way with it's ample 3.5" wide screen display. The device, has only one physical button at the bottom of the device for returns to the home screen. One initial criticism is that, without additional tactile buttons, blind dialing or dialing without looking at the device will be difficult at best. It is slated for a release in the middle of 2007 after receiving FCC approval, although an earlier release is not out of the question if Apple Inc. (Also changed today from Apple Computers Inc.) is able to get fast FCC approval. This device runs on an operating system that Apple describes as a "slimmed down OS X." Pricing is also quite high at $499 for a 4GB model and $599 for an 8 GB model. Of note, are additional new innovations such as a dual simultaneous input touch screen, and a screen at a record setting 160 Pixels per inch. The device connects to a users PC or Mac via a standard 30 pin iPod dock connector, and it is capable of syncing Music, Photo's, Videos, Contacts, and Calender information from a users computer. The only other port is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. This device seems like it will offer an unmatched level of user experience. Once test and shipping unit's are available the consumer market will be better able to evaluate the durability and usability for themselves.
